G.K Quiz

The Inter-House Quiz was conducted for the senior students on 31-8-2013. Four students were selected from each house on the basis of a preliminary written quiz. There were four rounds covering aspects related to Science, English, General Knowledge and Current Affairs. The students participated with a lot of enthusiasm and confidence.

Theme: Vikram Sarabhai - The Father of the Indian Space Program

The students of Class IX were assigned the theme ‘Vikram Sarabhai – The Father of the Indian Space Program’ for their assembly presentation. The week began with a brief introduction of the renowned scientist. On the second day, the ideas behind the launch of the satellite ’Aryabhatta’ were explained. A creative replica of the rocket was also shown. On the third day, Dr Sarabhai’s wife, Mrinalini and their two children were introduced.  Their contributions to the society were also highlighted. The fourth day was the day of the quiz in which students of all the classes participated with a lot of enthusiasm.
